This is a large Maya Wrap sling in fabric
#22. The tail really is too long for me, which makes it difficult to access the pocket sometimes. I'm 5'6", and if I were ordering
another one, I'd get a medium. Whether you have a Maya sling or another brand, I highly recommend the instructional video on the Maya Wrap website, which can be viewed online. A copy of this video comes free when you purchase a Maya Wrap or Maya
Pouch.
Nadia sitting in the sling. |

This is her preferred position. I've been carrying her like this since about 3 weeks. |
When she was really small, I would tuck her legs in the sling, rather than letting them hang out. I think she was about 2
months old when I switched. She actually prefers the Maya Pouch, but I can't nurse her discretely in that.

This is the position I use to nurse her. She was just letting go when DH snapped the picture. |
This method is almost hands free. I support her head in the crook of my elbow, rather than putting it inside the sling. I
find that if I try to go totally relying on the sling, it allows her to pull on the nipple or holds her head in a way that
can plug her nose with my breast.

Evalina can still nurse in the Maya Wrap. |
All of Evalina's weight is being supported by the sling. I just use the crook of my elbow to hold her head. I haven't nursed
her in the sling like this in a very long time. I just wanted to show that I could if I needed to.
